Located on Islingword Road in the Hanover area of Brighton...
Village opened in December 2015 and is a cafe-bar with a homely countryside feel; we serve a huge range of drinks and snacks and our kitchen has just opened serving brunch at the moment from 9am - 1pm on weekdays and 9am - 4pm at the weekend.
Open from 9am until 11pm on weekdays and midnight on Friday and Saturday, we use local suppliers such as The Real Patisserie and Drury Coffee. Our eggs, sausages and bacon come from the same local farm as Archers, the organic butcher just up the road from us.
We hire out space for parties and feature live bands, comedians and spoken word artists. Drop us an email or pop by to try out our delicious range of drinks. We serve an awesome array of teas and coffee all day and night and if you're a single malt lover, we've got the selection for you!

The Horse & Groom has been a Public House for over 100 years and is steeped in some fascinating history and some crazy urban myths! Send us your stories - we are aiming to collate them and have them up in the bar...
A year or so ago, the previous owner, Enterprise Inns sold the building to a private developer who planned to turn it into offices. Luckily for us, some local Hanover heroes launched a successful campaign to make it an Asset of Community Value.
Newly opened as a cafe-bar, we're open all day and night for everyone in the local community and beyond!
